About Charlotte
Charlotte, a young globe-trotting chef, finally decided to set her bags down in London . She decides to set up a business that would allow her to impart her knowledge of different cuisines and cooking techniques that she had learned from around the world.
After earning a diploma in political sciences from the prestigious Science Po in Lille she decided to follow her passion of becoming a chef and enrolled in l’Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Ferrandi in Paris.
After graduation she undertook training under the tutelage of M. Arabian, then installed as Star Michelin chef at the Palais Royal. When the opportunity of training in the United States arose she decided to leave Paris and undertake the discovery of new tastes, ingredients and flavors. She headed for San Francisco, the gastronomic capital of the United States. There the Ritz Carlton enabled her to refine her skills and discipline in various stations, including banquet, pastry making and restaurant preparations. She also benefited from the multiple cooking influences on the city, such as French (of course), Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Hawaiian, etc.
This was followed by a return to a gourmet bistro in the ninth arondissement of Paris to further develop her basic skills, a short stay in England to learn from the many new trends happening here.
An other opportunity then presented itself: the Caribneans! From a position as assistant she became Chef at the five-star Guahahani Resort in St. Barthelemy. There she learned the operations of a West-Indies kitchen, with its fresh fish, rum, island spices and all the Creole madness permitted by a large, upscale hotel.
Charlotte retains a curiosity with all kitchens of the world, whether chez Claude Trois Gros in Rio de Janeiro, in New York , or in San Paulo. Learning new styles, tastes and ingredients is her on-going passion.
That is why she choose London to settle, in which everything, foodwise, is happening! After a year in a gastro-pub in West London, to get a taste of this new trend, she is back to her true passion, sharing her experiences and her food directly with you!
Charlotte now wishes to concoct a menu with love for you and your friends. Allow her to be a source of creativity and talent while you quietly open good bottles of wine and enjoy a beautiful evening with a house full of friends.
